Who we are
Burnaby ("we", "us") develops Shopify apps including Order Cap, Menu Rotation, Lead Time, and Reorder IQ. This policy covers all apps published under the Burnaby brand.
What data we collect
- Store information — your Shopify store domain and access tokens required for the app to function.
- App configuration — settings you create inside the app (e.g. cap rules, badge preferences, billing plan).
- Order metadata — order IDs and line-item product/variant IDs, used solely to enforce order limits. We do not store customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect, store, or process any customer personal information (PII). We have no access to customer emails, shipping addresses, payment information, or browsing behavior.
How we use data
Data is used exclusively to provide app functionality — enforcing order caps, displaying storefront badges, and managing your subscription. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Data storage and security
App data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure. Access tokens are stored in an encrypted database and are never exposed to third parties.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your app configuration data only while the app is installed. When you uninstall, we delete your store's configuration data and access tokens within 30 days. You can request full data deletion at any time by emailing us. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for data deletion and data access requests.
Data processing location
App data is processed and stored in the United States.
Third-party services
Our apps interact only with the Shopify API. We do not integrate with or send data to any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
